She has settled in West Bay with her husband David and two daughters -- six-year old Lucinda  and four-year old Phoebe.  A graduate of the Intercontinental Hotel School, she has over fifteen years of experience in public relations & special events.  Sarah organizes countless events for the group.

Membership Manager. . . Hiba
Hiba is originally from Egypt but lived and worked in several Middle Eastern and North African countries before settling in Doha with her husband and two boys, aged four and five.  (Her kids have the coolest names on earth - just ask her!) In her former life she worked for over 10 years for the Special Olympics, a global organization that advocates the rights of individuals with intellectual disabilities; she has also worked as an accountant and a martial arts coach. Hiba also hosts the New & Expectant Mums Coffee at City Center.
Pearl Mums & Library Coordinator. . . Kerri
Originally from South Yorkshire, Kerri lived in London for eight years before moving to Doha in December 2008. She's a stay at home mum to four-year old Leonard and two-year old Alfred, but in a previous chapter of her life she worked in Property Management and accounts. She loves all things Doha and would be happy to stay here indefinitely.  Kerri is the coordinator for the Pearl Mums Coffee and is one of the founders of the Doha Mums Children's Library.
New Arrivals Coffee (Hyatt Plaza). . . Carrie
Carrie was born into the expat life. As the child of a military family she moved every 3-4 years until she went away to college. With degrees in Anthropology, History and English, Carrie spent 8 years in Advertising before returning to her first love, teaching. When her husband started talking about moving to China to help out his father's business, it was a done deal. Pack up the cats, we're heading out. Three years and one kid later the Keoughs were on their way to Doha to start a new adventure. While overseas, Carrie has developed a special love of coffee mornings and the wide eyed, panicked stare of new arrivals. She can usually be found chatting about her favorite cheap eats, which Carrefour has hypoallergenic detergent in stock and where to find an ever elusive waffle iron. If you have had enough of Doha, she will happily talk about travel, University of Michigan Football, cooking or all things Mac. Grab a coffee, pull up a chair and welcome to Doha Mums.
Group Mentor. . . Suzi
Suzi is originally from Greece, grew up in Athens and lived for twelve years in the U.S. before coming to Doha. A psychologist, currently a stay-home-mom of two boys, 4.5 year old Aris, 14 year old Thalis and a 21 year old daughter Lito, she has spent 2.5 years here and is still discovering new hidden "treasures" of Qatar. Suzi is the face behind our Group Mentor email on the Contact page, and the one who calms the nerves of prospective members worldwide as they learn about their impending moves to Doha.
Playgroup Coordinator & More. . . Jay
Jay was born in South Korea but grew up in Zimbabwe, went to University in South Africa, attended hotel school in Switzerland, worked in the UK and now in Doha! She is here with her husband and two-year old Zurie. She has been enjoying the perfect job as a housewife but has gone back to the "real" world recently.  Jay ensures that we always have playgroups on the calendar and is working on the upcoming Mum2Mum program.
Qatar Airways Liaison. . . Julie
Julie is from Toronto, Canada and moved to Doha for her husband's work. It is their first posting abroad. She is a working mom of one: Karl, 18 months and been in Doha for almost a year.  Julie is passionate about motherhood and has worked with moms here in Doha supporting them through sleep challenges with their babies.
Bubbles Playgroup and more. . . Roma
Roma lives in Doha with her husband John & their son Mathew. She moved from India over two years ago & loves everything about Doha. You can call her a Walking Talking Shopping Guide - and the chances of bumping into her at a mall with her stroller are very high! Roma loves travelling & after completing her Masters in Tourism Administration she worked in the India Tourism Industry. She is now a stay-at-home-mum and is loving every bit of it! Roma hosts the Bubbles 2010 Playgroups as well as Breakfast Mornings.
Borrow! Coordinator. . . Ann
Ann moved to Doha in 2010 from Ireland along with her husband, four-year old daughter and two-year old son. She is a devoted reader of the short articles and topical analyses in The Economist.  Doha Mums helped her family settle into life in Qatar by loaning car seats, hosting playgroups and giving them a way to meet approachable and friendly people. To continue the helping hand, she coordinates the Borrow! programme. Ann will also be helping to coordinate for Doha Mums presentations/discussions in the area of Parenting for 2011 (suggestions for areas of interest are always welcome!)
