Creative Child provides a distinctive pre-school experience for your children aged from 1 to 4 years old. Our staff creates an atmosphere of support and affection, which allows children to interact socially and gain self-esteem. Our well-balanced program, dedicated teachers, outstanding facilities and appropriate resources provide a nurturing environment, which allows children to use their creativity and discover their own world.
Creative Child opened its doors in September 2004. Our nursery school is based on North American (USA/Canada) early childhood principles and standards. Creative Child is located within the tranquil and secure Riviera Gardens Compound.
Creative Child aims to provide a creative and nurturing environment that promotes confidence and love for learning. Our unique curriculum is based on play time that allows children to discover, explore, initiate, pretend and self regulate themselves. Creative Child staff will guide children through appropriate adult-child interaction strategies and carefully planning. Our educational approach is based on theory, research and proven practices.
Our multilingual program seeks to inspire parents to start or support their child's multilingual education. We are planting a seed and parents have the great opportunity to provide the right conditions to see their child become a new citizen of the multicultural world.

Educational Program: Fully-licensed nursery with a strong and unique curriculum, Creative Child is more than a traditional daycare; Creative Child is a professional preschool. Children come to play and learn and the active learning process is supported by a systematic curriculum that includes specific caregivers' interaction strategies, annual plan and daily routines, learning environment planning and formal development reports.
Exclusive Multilingual Program: Creative Child aims to promote a unique multilingual atmosphere where multilingual families and children feel comfortable. We are eager to provide parents with opportunities to reinforce a native language or be exposed to a new one through our additional language classes of Arabic, French, Mandarin and Spanish. Moreover multilingualism at an early age provides academic and cognitive advantages that are not restricted to linguistics knowledge only, but extended outside the area of language. The substantial long-lived cognitive, social, personal, academic, and professional benefits of enrichment bilingual contexts have been well documented.
Healthy Lifestyle Awareness Program: We aim to provide families with the best education for this generation of children. With that in mind, Creative Child launched in 2010 the Healthy Lifestyle Awareness Program and made it part of our educational goals. Unfortunately the changes in our lifestyle and habits are having terrible consequences on our health. Obesity and related diseases have increased in record numbers over the last 20 years. Changes in our social networks, the increase of TV and video games, the lack of physical activities, the popularity of fast food and the variety of "junk" products available in the market are some of the main reasons why many adults and children today are at an increased risk of dying from cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. We believe that providing the right foundation regarding health habits is mandatory.
Parental Involvement Program: At Creative Child we see our team as an extension of your family. The partnership between the parents and the school is essential to ensure our mutual goal: the best foundation for your child's future. This is why we pay special attention to building strong communication between parents and Creative Child from the first day that you visit the school. Our Parental Involvement Program includes: Parenting Workshops, Regular Communication, Open-Door Policy, Volunteering and Community Collaboration. Our "My First Time" program helps both parents and children integrate smoothly to the nursery routine.
Outstanding facilities: Two beautiful, secure and clean buildings with 8 classrooms, a large grassy area, shady outdoor area, and 5 different indoor play areas. All classrooms are located on the ground floor level according to the Civil Defense Department and Supreme Education Council regulations in Qatar.
Full-Time Nurse: All the staff have the CPR & First Aid training. We also employ a full-time nurse, who makes the daily rounds to monitor the wellness of our children. Our school nurse is responsible for the management of the safety, sanitation and emergency procedures.

Exploring colors, textures and patterns through craft activities is fun for all ages.
Grassy Play area: We have a beautiful and fully equipped large garden (almost 350m2).
Shaded outdoor play area: More than 80m2. The playground, the sand pit and the water play areas are shaded. We also have a special shaded area for some gardening, as a part of their curriculum. Much of our grassy garden is shaded due to buildings and tree shadows, too.
Dedicated indoor play area: We have a spacious and colourful indoor playground, one yoga and music room, one gym, two dedicated soft play areas, an amazing area for dramatic play and a special young toddler play area, among others.

Children love to strike a pose in our Yoga Class!
For the last 2 1/2 years, Creative Child has provided a nurturing, caring, stimulating, and fun environment for my daughter Leila. Leila has had wonderful teachers and playmates that have greatly stimulated and taught her in fun and creative ways. She has learned a lot from nursery rhymes in both English and Spanish to recognizing numbers and letters, and to being polite and caring towards others. Leila is a trilingual child (Spanish, Swedish, and English) and Creative Child has provided the right atmosphere to foster her language development. Her daily Spanish class offers a wonderful environment to enrich her home language, and her classroom environment fosters her development of her school and social language. We are very pleased with how much Creative Child has contributed to our daughter's development.

Creative Child is absolutely wonderful! I sent my older daughter to a well-known nursery in Doha for the last 2 years, we were happy there, but the key difference is Creative Child's stress on multilingualism and healthy eating. I absolutely love these aspects of Creative Child. The staff is always friendly, pleasant, helpful, well-trained, and open to communication. Everyone is professional and safety is a top priority. I am very grateful that Owen has had the opportunity to go to Creative Child and I recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you!
Molly, Mom of Owen (3 years old)
We heard about Creative Child from a fellow Exxon Mobil employee. We love the structure, the organization, the staff, and the teachers. They are kind, competent and fantastic. My daughter is in the four year old group and the program is so diverse and wonderful. I have never found another program or teachers as good here or in the USA!!! My daughter is handicapped and she learned more at Creative Child than at the physical/occupational therapy sessions she takes in the afternoon. The communication program is excellent; I like Student Diary. The school is unique in its multilingual approach and the wide range of courses offered. We have seen a huge difference in her gross and fine motor skills.
Thank God we found Creative Child.

We have had our children at Creative Child since me moved to Doha almost 5 years ago. The children and the families always come first. I appreciate how the leadership/administration and teachers are always striving to improve. To me Creative Child is everything a nursery school should be -we just love it! Thank you for working so hard.
