More About Gympanzee

Mummy & Me Classes: Our very popular Mummy & Me class take place every Saturday from 10am-noon and is geared toward mums and kids (18 months - 4 years).  The children discover and develop their talents with mummy's help during the two-hour class, which is guided by Teacher Robin.  Each week we explore a fun new theme based on the Squiggles to Grins curriculum - read more about it on the Kidz Art Qatar website.  We schedule a break time so parents have time to meet one another and the kids have a chance to engage in free play (and enjoy a healthy snack!). Parents are encouraged to suggest specific class themes if they have something in mind.  Don't forget to bring socks for the soft play area.

Full-time Nurse: Don't worry - we employ a full-time certified nurse to ensure that your child is properly taken care of in the case of an illness or emergency.

Promotional Coupon Book: For parents who have more than one child - or for parents who frequent Gympanzee - we offer a coupon book offering 30 Gympanzee hours for the price of QR1600.  The coupons are valid for three months.

Potty Training: Once every few months we offer a "potty training" workshop for the kids who are ready (with their mums assisting).

Birthday Parties and Special Events: We host birthday parties for a range of ages - in both Gympanzee and in the luxury of your own home.  We can also bring our traveling puppet show to your home, nursery or school.  Please plan to book at least two weeks ahead to ensure that you receive your date and time of choice.

Religion and Culture: We do not discuss any religious topics, but we do participate in arts & crafts that coordinate with each season. We explain the different local holidays to the children, especially the important ones such as Ramadan and Eid, and we introduce them to the culture of the country in which they live.

Testimonials

I have nothing but great things to say about Gympanzee.  This is our first day care experience and it's an interesting experience to see just how much kids love that place.  There has to be something great happening there because I have seen several kids o different occasions crying or trying to negotiate with parents because they don't want to leave Gympanzee for the day! The people there are so warm and loving, which makes the kids feel so comfortable. I have seen my daughter learn so much in the past few months she has been going there. Each week when I get her folder of work that she has done for the week I can see improvement. It's also a pleasure to hear her recite new songs that she has learned or fun little facts. One of my favorite things is that she has learned names for all her fingers. It's hilarious!

Sandra

Our daughter loves to attend preschool at Gympanzee.  She is excited from the moment we get ready to leave the house until we pick her up.  Enrolling her at Gympanzee has also helped her grow and mature.

Steve & Rita

I have been living in Doha for only 5 months and wanted somewhere for my 2 year old son to interact with children his own age.  After looking into several options I discovered that a number of Nursery Schools in Doha were very very structured.  I had many concerns about this as I just wanted somewhere FUN.

After attending the Mummy & Me classes on Saturday mornings I was convinced that the Gympanzee Nursery was the perfect place.  My son now has the ability to attend a nursery school that allows him to interact with children his own age yet be given the freedom to grow into his own little person!

My son has rarely been looked after by anyone other than myself or his Dad and I had concerns over how he would react to being left alone with someone he hardly knew.  Of course things didn't go to plan and my son wasn't at all happy with being left.  As a first time Mum i was also finding it hard to leave my little boy with people I had only known for a few weeks.  However the amazing staff at Little Gympanzee Nursery helped both myself and my son every step of the way.

Their kindness, understanding and wealth of experience helped us become familiar and comfortable with the staff, other children and facilities. While now he still gets a little upset it is only minutes before he's forgotten that I have gone and is busy playing with all the other children.

The hours of operation are perfect and allow me to pick up my son whenever I want without being strict about it.  The soft play are, art & craft area and fantasy play area are all very well equipped with fantastic toys to create, motivate and stimulate their imagination, physical development and general well-being.

My son will be attending Little Gympanzee for a long time yet.

Sally (A very happy Mum!)

Our 2 year old daughter has been attending Gympanzee's morning nursery for 6 months and she loves it.  She is growing up trilingual - English, Korean and Chinese_ and the classes and socialisation at Gympanzee has really helped her Englsih verbal skills to develop greatly.  Her motor skills and social skills have also improved amazingly. The supportive and caring, yet disciplined, environment and the great teacher to student ratio which allows such a lot of individual attention, are particularly welcome and the facilities are excellent.  Overall, we are very happy we enrolled her, and more importantly, so is Faye.
