Growing up in Las Vegas, Lindsay had opportunities to sing with Michael Jackson, skydive with the Flying Elvises, and meet Andre Agassi's dogs. While in university, she interned at Walt Disney World and did religious service in Berlin, Germany. Lindsay graduated from Brigham Young University in European Studies. After her studies, she worked in the mortgage industry, hiring/recruiting for American Express, and ran a summer program for 18,000 youth. Lindsay became a stay at home mom when she moved to Qatar in 2009.

Fiona is from London but moved to Plymouth for university where she had too much fun and not enough study. She moved to Singapore for two years in 2010 and, after having son Charley in the UK, she moved to Doha in January 2013. Fiona has been underwriting insurance for nearly 15 years, but has also been a barmaid, worked the night shift in a hospital laundry, sold timeshares, worked for the railways, served as an assistant zookeeper and at one point a nightclub dancer! Currently Fiona is a full time stay at home mum.

Raana grew up in a very small town in Virginia (if you blink, you'd miss it!) and has spent the last ten years living abroad. Originally from the U.S, she moved to Doha in 2008 after studying Arabic in Jordan for a few years. She runs a stationery and party company based in the U.S and has a son, Ayoub, for whom she absolutely loves making Montessori-inspired play items! She found an amazing playgroup through Doha Mums when Ayoub was only ten months old. They are still in touch and meet regularly four years later!

Sudesna moved to Doha twelve years ago and is an Indian mom with two wonderful boys. Though she is a marketing and customer service professional she decided not to join the workforce but instead explore Doha. Sudesna finds that part-time and freelancing works best with her and her family. She also loves to volunteer at various charity events and at her elder son's school. In 2012 Sudesna was seriously injured an massive car accident and believes that it was with the prayers and best wishes of Doha Mums members that she managed to recover from that difficult time in her life.

Linda is a mum of 2 boys (4 and 17 months old). She lived in Istanbul for 2 and half years where her first son was born. Soon after that in 2012 she moved to Doha. Before having kids Linda worked as a financial controller. Currently she is a stay at home mum enjoying life in Doha. It was challenging at first to get used to the life in the desert, being far from family and not seeing so much greenery, but Linda and her family try to make the most of life here. She believes that people here are more dependent on each other and it opens doors for developing great communities and friendships. Linda is currently co-hosting the weekly Baby & Toddler Music Group.

Siv Anne came to Doha in 2015 with her husband and 5 month old daughter. Before her daughter was born, she worked as an analyst at the centre for Payroll, for a company in Norway called Frontica. She is currently not working, but staying at home with her daughter. Siv Anne is enjoying how easy it is to meet new people here in Doha, especially as a mother with so many different playgroups to choose between. The Fun City soft play at City Centre is one of the favorite, which she helps host together with Ranya.

Nada is originally Syrian but grew up in Qatar. After high school she lived in Syria for a few years until she got married then moved back to Qatar with her husband in 2002. Nada loves the multicultural environment that Doha offers. She previously worked in school and nursery administration but has been a stay at home mum for the past few years. Nada has 2 children, Ibrahim 12 and Maya 8 who enjoy the Doha Mums Children's Library. Nada's hobbies include reading, cooking and travelling.

Ellie arrived in Doha 6 years ago from Cheshire, North West England, kick starting a career in education. Since then she has had 2 children and now teaches a class of 20 preschoolers! Previously leader of Mini Maestros, a music class for babies and toddlers, Ellie now coordinates the Doha Mum's Borrow Program.

RANYA

RANYA

Ranya is a mother to a gorgeous 20 month old boy and is expecting another one soon. Ranya and her family enjoy spending quality family time and love the expat life in Doha. With a background in education and administration, Ranya worked for the past 4 years in both fields and looks forward to continuing her career in teaching. She also enjoys socializing and meeting new people. Ranya helps host the Fun City Playgroup at City Center Mall as well as volunteering in the Doha Mums Children's Library.
