PLAYGROUPS
Doha Mums love playgroups and have a terrific variety from which to choose! Most of our playgroups are unstructured, allowing the children to engage in free play and their mums to socialize. Other playgroups may have a specific purpose (i.e. an art project or outdoor play), requiring parental participation.
Our playgroups are typically held at members’ homes, compound clubhouses or in public parks. The hosting member decides whether the playgroup will be open to all ages or a specific age range (e.g. infants). Small fees are occasionally requested to help with the cost of snacks and supplies. Some are scheduled on a regular basis while others are scheduled on a one-off basis.

Afternoon Hotel Pool Playgroup
Bring your babies. . .bring your toddlers. . .bring your older ones. . .to the West Bay hotel pool for a fun playgroup!
We meet one weekday afternoon for the special reduced rate of Qr.50 per person (kids under two are free).

Parachute Playgroup
Come and join in on the fun at a casual parachute playgroup hosted by two Doha Mums members every Wednesday from 10:00am-12:30pm in Al Waab.
Parachute play is a positive cooperative group activity that can be used for different games for ages 18 months to six years old and is both educational and fun. It is non-competitive play and teaches agility, body movements, coordination and teamwork.
Parachute games will last for about 30 minutes. Please bring snacks and juice for your child and a drink for yourself. The mums can have a chat afterwards while the kids play in the clubhouse playroom.
Please note that this is a casual parachute playgroup rather than a professionally-organized “business” type of arrangement. Accordingly, there is no fee for the playgroup.

Pool Playground at a Hotel

Fun City Playgroup
Come and join us for some indoor play at Fun City, which is located in City Centre Mall. It is a very suitable play area for tots up to the age of 4/5. The toys are fab and it’s lovely and clean too. BYO drinks and snacks.
This playgroup meets every Thursday from 10am-noon.
Special Doha Mums Price : Qr 20/- for 2 hours
Please RSVP to the playgroup via email – your RSVP is required in order to avail the special discount, and is only available once to prospective members. (After that the discount is only available to members who RSVP via the Doha Mums private website.)
