“Paths 2” Exhibition by Al Markhiya Gallery

Al Markhiya Gallery opened the “Paths 2” exhibition which is the second part of a previous exhibition of the gallery at Katara Art Center, Qatar.

The exhibition, which runs until October 23, includes 32 paintings by artists belonging to various creative schools, Abdullah Al Asaad from Syria, Hosni Abu Karim from Jordan, Zaid Al Zaidi, and Salem Mathkour from Iraq.

Date and Timings:

• August 16 to October 23, 2020
  Sunday through Thursday: 10 am to 9 pm
• Admission is free and they are open every day except Fridays.
  Saturday: 4 to 9 pm

All four artists mention a profound personal connection to the natural world, and the vital need for humanity to realign with nature. Issues of heritage and culture are also present in their work, as they question how they play a significant role in creating the building blocks of identity.
