With the participation of 20 distinguished drama works in the field of short films, the “Middle East and North Africa Week of Short Films” program, organized by the Yunus Emre Center, will kick off virtually tomorrow.
Ten Turkish shows and 10 Arab short films from Qatar, Morocco, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine will be on show. The shows are available to the public for free, through the center’s website odka.eventive.org, with an average of four different films every day, available to watch throughout the day.
On the other hand, a statement issued by the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center in Doha indicated that most of the films participating in the program had previously participated in international festivals and won important prizes. Within the framework of the program and activities of the center, Yunus Emre Center is conducting a number of meetings with the filmmakers and directors of these films, and these meetings will be broadcast directly through the center’s accounts on social media.
